We believe that fungi can transform the way we produce food, manage woodlands and make use of local natural resources. That is why, for more than 10 years, we have been working in the field of mushroom cultivation, growing mushrooms, developing outdoor cultivation systems, producing our own spawn and experimenting with a wide range of species and cultivation techniques.
We bring this experience to home growers, landowners, commercial growers, businesses, organisations and projects wishing to incorporate fungi into their activities, whether to produce food, diversify agricultural or forestry enterprises, make better use of local resources or explore new ways of combining mushroom cultivation, ecology and sustainability.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Every site, every growing space and every project is unique.
Before recommending a cultivation system, we carefully assess the site conditions, climate, available resources, locally available raw materials, the mushroom species to be cultivated and the objectives of the project.
From there, we help you develop a cultivation strategy that is practical, viable and tailored to your specific circumstances.

Outdoor mushroom cultivation offers many possibilities. Depending on the site and the resources available, we can work with:
- Log cultivation, using different inoculation techniques.
- Mushroom beds, integrated into vegetable gardens, gardens, food forests, woodland holdings and other productive spaces.
- Growing systems based on wood, plant residues and other locally available raw materials.
- Combinations of different species and cultivation systems to adapt production to the conditions and seasonality of each site.
The aim is not to adapt the land to the mushroom, but to identify which species and cultivation systems are best suited to each site.
We produce our own spawn
An essential part of our work is the production of spawn for outdoor mushroom cultivation.
In our on-site laboratory, we produce our own inoculum for different species, mainly plug spawn and sawdust spawn, which we then use in our cultivation systems and make available to our customers.
This gives us direct knowledge and full traceability of a material as sensitive and important as spawn. For us, producing it in-house means controlling a key link in the production chain and being able to ensure the quality of the inoculum you purchase.
Whenever possible, we prioritise locally sourced raw materials and work according to the principles of organic agriculture, avoiding synthetic chemicals and favouring cultivation systems that respect the environment.
Before we advise, we experiment
Close to our facilities, we have our own outdoor experimental growing site: the Boscum Experimental Station.
It is our testing ground. Here we establish different cultivation methods, work with a range of fungal species and observe how they respond to the environmental conditions of our local area.
It is also where we trial new species, compare cultivation systems, evaluate different types of inoculum and study mushroom performance under real outdoor conditions before transferring that knowledge to our customers.
This experimental work allows us to keep learning and, above all, to provide consultancy based on hands-on experience.
Because we prefer to recommend what we know, grow and put into practice ourselves.
Fungi as a tool for transformation
We see mushroom cultivation as an activity that can go far beyond producing mushrooms for food or medicinal use.
We are particularly interested in projects that connect fungi with agriculture, woodland management, ecology and sustainability. We become involved in initiatives aimed at diversifying production on farms, smallholdings, vegetable gardens and gardens, making use of agricultural and forestry resources, and developing projects that contribute to healthier ecosystems.
We are also interested in initiatives exploring new applications for mycelium, from wildfire prevention to educational, experimental and community-based projects.
We like to walk the land, understand the site and observe how natural processes work before proposing a solution. We believe the best projects are those that grow out of a real understanding of the place and the resources already available there.
